How do I turn my photos into Pop Art style images?

Well there are many effects which could be classified as "Pop Art" including Warhol, Lichtenstein and (maybe) Jackson Pollock. Here we'll just show you how to apply the Lichtenstein and Pollock effects to you images, starting with some examples:

Pop Art Effect Examples (Lichtenstein)

As I said, strictly speaking Jackson Pollock was not a "Pop Artist", but the effect is so easy to apply I'll show you how. Anyway, lets start with Roy L.

Bring your original image into Repligator (there's a free demo download) and you'll get to this dialog:

How to choose the Pop Art Effect

...where you simply select Pop Art as the effect you want to apply. Now you can either click on the Next Example button or the Fine Tune... button. If you do the latter you will get a dialog like this:

Pop Art Settings Dialog

...where you can set the effect colors and shapes to exactly what you want. And that is that! Then you can save your image or use the clipboard to transfer it to another program.

The sequence for Pollock Effect is exactly the same, except that you choose "Pollock" instead of "Pop Art". The effects are close together in the list:

Choosing The Pollock Effect.

It is as simple as that. No layers or selections or complex doodahs of that type! Download Repligator here.
